How a Real Estate Marketing Professional Helped Me Achieve My Dreams

I am a single mother to three beautiful children. My eldest, Elna, is an eight-year-old bubbly child. She loves to sing and dance and imitate me while dressing up. My second is Marcus. He is five. He loves doodling in our apartment’s wall and making weird noises. My youngest is three. She is Catelyn. I named her because of my love for the HBO series Game of Thrones. Catelyn is one of the characters in the hit series, she is the mother of the Starks children of Winterfell.
You see, I love talking about my kids. There are times when my friends and I have coffee and I will just tell them about my kids and their latest mishaps. I love telling people who I love my kids. One day, I bumped into a stranger. At first I though she’s quite familiar. Then it hit me. She was actually a former officemate in my first job after college. I worked as an executive assistant to our boss while she was a neophyte account manager. Her name is Sharon. I invited her to come with me in the nearest coffee shop. As usual, I told her about my career path after I quit my job. After an hour long talk, we had this conversation about my failed relationship and how I dream of having my own house for my children. Right now, I am working as a manager in a retail store and the pay is quite well for my children. I found out she is currently working as a real estate marketing officer in a well-known real estate company.

I told her that we are living in a tiny apartment, a one-drive away from my office. I have to send my kids to school two hours before so we will not all be late. As for Catelyn and Marcus, I drop them off in the nearby day care center. I fetch them right after work.
Sharon told me I can scrap all these struggles. She offered me a real estate property just near the retail store where I work. After much pondering about her proposal, I said yes to her offer and I never looked back.
I also transferred Elna in an exclusive school just near our store and Marcus and Catelyn are both enjoying their time in a center two blocks away. The house we know own is something we can call our home. It has a spacious kitchen (where I usually bake and make pastas) and living room where my kids can play around all they want. They too have rooms together and there is one for our house maid. We also have a nice playground and I set up a small inflatable pool for them. I also allotted a small room which shall serve as my future workstation when I decide to be a work-at-home mom. Being a manager, I get to supervise them without going their physically. I decided I will just schedule twice a week visits and all the supervision can be done at home.
Indeed, I never regretted it. It saved me time plus I have more time for my kids.
